RCC's engineers pioneered the development of radio frequency engineering tools, known as the ComSite software suite. Organizations around the world use the tools to design, optimize, manage and operate their wireless networks.

With more than 285 million Americans using wireless devices, and that number growing every day, it is more important — but also more difficult — than ever to ensure coverage and adequate network capacity. Wireless carriers and other providers of wireless data services may benefit from implementing a distributed antenna system (DAS).
A DAS is essentially a set of low-powered antennas installed across a geographic area and connected to a central location or power source by fiber. The technology is especially useful in areas where traditional towers aren't feasible — due to coverage issues (such as densely populated areas, rough terrain or in buildings), zoning challenges or other concerns.
RCC has designed, built and maintained distributed antenna networks for wireless carriers, public safety agencies, transportation, higher education and office buildings across the country. The voice and data systems — both indoors and outdoors — have supported a wide range of applications (cell phones, mobile radios, WiFi, pagers) and frequency ranges (800 MHz up to 6 GHz). Working with our clients, we design the best solution to boost network capacity and coverage based on building layout, traffic patterns, network infrastructure and other factors.
