What Wave Are You????

Today the 800 MHz Transition Administrator submitted the Regional Prioritzation Plan to the FCC! In this submission, the TA introduced the concept of "Prioritization Waves " (thus the title of the post, "What Wave Are You?") to assign dates by which Licensees must commence reconfiguration. Click here to see when you are scheduled!

For those of you in Wave One and Wave Two, you don't have a moment to lose! RCC recommends that you begin planning your strategy for the tackling the rebanding process immediately. For more information on how RCC can help you in this process, please go to RCC's Rebanding Website at www.rcc.com/rebanding .

RCC Comment on the 800MHz Regional Prioritization Plan

Attached is a memorandum of RCC Consultants, Inc. (RCC), submitted in response to the invitation of the 800 MHz Transition Administrator (the 800TA) for industry comment on the 800 MHz Regional Prioritization Plan.

The memorandum was prepared by the Spectrum Planning Issues Sub-Committee of the Rebanding Working Group of RCC, of which Dr. Joseph Y. Nasser and Mr. Norman R. Coltri are Co-Chairmen.

Any response or questions should be sent to reband@rcc.com. The chairmen and members of the sub-committee hope that the memorandum engages the interest of the 800TA and believe that the issues raised therein are important, indeed critical, and should be effectively addressed in the 800TA’s rebanding plan.

Respectfully submitted,

RCC Rebanding Working Group
