Director-level RF Engineer in Phoenix, AZ

Description

 

We are expanding operations in the Western U.S. with operations in the Phoenix, AZ area. We are looking for a qualified Director-level RF Engineer to join our team in Phoenix, AZ (Maricopa County) in support of long-term projects.

 

Candidates must live in or be willing to relocate to the greater Phoenix, AZ area.

 

Requirements

 

 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related technical discipline. Master’s degree preferred.
  • Project Management certification is desired.
  • Professional Engineering Registration is desired.
  • 5-10 years exp in RF Engineering, Trunked/Conventional VHF, UHF and 700/800 MHz, and voice and data communication system architectures. Public Safety Radio Systems, Microwave Subsystems & Communications Tower Sites development.
  • Familiarity with Design, Specification, Procurement. Implementation, Testing and Management of Private Mobile Radio Systems projects.
  • Familiarity with APCO P25, Motorola or Harris trunked LMR systems.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Access.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Project Management software such as Microsoft Project and/or Primavera is a plus.
  • Strong background in RF propagation and interference modeling and trunked system capacity analysis.
  • Occasional travel outside the region may be required.
  • Ability to work as part of a team.

RF Engineers

Summary

 

 We are expanding operations in the Midwest United States with openings in St. Louis, Missouri and Columbus, Ohio. We are looking for qualified RF Engineers to join our team.

 

Qualifications

 

 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related technical discipline or equivalent related experience. Master’s degree desirable.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.
  • Professional Engineering Registration is desirable.
  • 5-10 years experience in RF Engineering, Trunked/Conventional VHF, UHF and 700/800 MHz. Public Safety Radio Systems, Microwave Subsystems & Communications Tower Sites.
